I spent a lot of time learning to use the previous IOS version and now the UI is so different its unusable without another significant time investment. Why do you need to fix something thats not broken. Its so bad, I may just abandon it and find something else. Really, really disappointed!!

A feat in user interface design. Delivers extremely technical information in a very elegant UI. Bravo!

Great app, especially when traveling to a new location for photography at dawn or dusk.

User interface is not intuitive, access to features is not obvious. Finding and storing locations other than where you are standing is hidden, several buttons are so dark you cannot determine what they indicate

Fantastic really useful tool for photographers but hate the update, the old interface was much more intuitive. See no benefit, only disadvantages to this update. A shame, a useful tool

Its the best apps each photographer need to have. The developer added great functionality. Very recommended.

The previous version was a bit clumsy to work with. Some functions just didnt seem to be available. I wouldnt say it is a joy just yet but I find it very useful for my photographic purposes.

Im an architectural photographer and use TPE for planning literally every shoot. Great interface.

This used to be a great, usable app. Now u can Facebook, tweet, send selfies. F&@&") useless 2 find moon & sun. But friends kno where u r !!!

This is a must for any landscape photographer. It works great and very easy to get up to speed quickly.

This update was long overdue, but well worth the wait. A great new version that is easy to use, a big step up over the previous version.

There are a great many apps that are superfluous to the serious photographers workflow. There are a few that are useful to have at hand for reference purposes. There are very few that are essential and TPE falls into this category. Whether you are a landscape or architectural photographer or do any sort of photography where the position of the sun or moon is an important factor, you wont regret the price of a cup of coffee for the miracle this app performs. Simply magical.

If you are serious concerning outdoor photography you definitely know The Photographers Ephemeris from a desktop version. I was really delighted when I found that author decided to release an iPad version too. This is a kind of an application which you must have in your library. The best one to plan your day, together with some weather forecasts. I strongly recommend it!
