Perfect app for planning night sky, sunrise, and sunset photography. Ease to use and accurate. Loved it when it told me on what date/time the sun would rise on the end of a road.

This software is GREAT!! Useful in many ways and easy to use.

TPE is invaluable when you care about producing the best images at a given location. I frequently use it to judge sunset/moonset positions as well as timing.

This is essential app for my photo trips. Just must have!! Perfect and easy to use. Love it!!

TPE is an excellent tool that eliminates the guess work for those of us who natural light. With the addition of Skyfire I can sleep in, with a great amount of certainty, and not miss a outstanding sunrise..

This app is an absolute must have for any Landscape Photographer! The first thing I did after getting familiar with the apps controls was to get on the map and Pin, and save all my favorite places, and places I plan on shooting in the future. That way I can use my ipad offline at any of the locations and still be able to use all the calculators for sunrise and set, and moonrise and set. And also be able to track the stars! You will be able to plan when and where you want to shoot months ahead. ABSOLUTLEY INVALUABLE!!!

Long title I know but seriously you should get this app. Its really useful for photographers whether they are doing urban portraits or canyon landscapes. The ability to know where the sun will be during the day allows you to plan your craft like never before. If you like shooting the stars there is no better app for knowing where the celestial objects will be like the moon, galaxy center, and all the constellations. Regular updates and a responsive developer make this one of the finest apps Ive ever used. Get it!

Love this app. Worth the $$$. Only one situation I had problem with. Tried the Apple map while in Bora Bora an got no view. Switched to Google map an all was OK. So, no real problems.

Dont let the price turn you away.....this is an awesome app! I find myself spending hours running various scenarios for the sun/moon rising and setting. The Skyfire add-in is spot on. (Recent experience with Skyfire.....I was certain it would be a great sunset based on the way the sky looked at about 4pm. Skyfire was saying that it wouldnt be, which I was having a hard time believing. Sure enough, 45 min before sunset, a cloud bank appeared completely blocking out the sun and horizon. Once you trust it, it will save you a lot of time and disappointment.) One slight downside...there is so much information and flexibility built into the app that it can be a little overwhelming at first. The upside is that there are a number of videos available, using real life situations, to help get you started and explain some of the finer points.

This app has changed the way I plan my shots which are all outdoor and which require plan-ahead appointments. I now put my list of sites through TPE and find the structures orientation, then the best time for lighting. Thanks to TPEs ability to change date and time of the map, I can review older photos and using the best ones, revisit the event and note things such as the position and angle of the sun at the time. And technical support is superb.

Ive been using TPE for about 3 years now across Windows and iOS I have found it to be impeccable and extremely helpful when I need to know the impact of sun and or moon on my shot. There are other apps but none as robust or easy to use as TPE.

I have had this app for a year and it has been a GREAT HELP. I take twilight photography and I can Dial in the sunset in the area I want to photography in. Find where the sunset will set and on the date that I will be in the area , a great help. I would recommend this to EVERYBODY that want to know where the sun and moon will rise and set. I have recommend this to all my friends. The new changes (April 2015) have been greatly received easier to to use. I ALWAYS use it to plan photographic adventures. Letting me know where the sun and moon will be at the place I am traveling. Best app for traveling. July 5, 2016 I have used and trusted the app since it beginning. I am a photographer that like to photograph sunrises and sunsets. I use this app to check sunrises and sunsets in the areas that I travel. The ability to keep locations I like to go is a very big plus. It is nice that I can see the times of sunrise or sunset and the dates of areas that I am thinking to photograph.
